EMUI and MagicOS manage app launch "automatically" by default — which in practice means the system closes third-party apps in the background and notifications stop arriving. The key step is to switch ProZvonki's launch to manual and enable all three permissions. This also directly affects whether callback reminders fire.
Step 1. Switch app launch to manual
Open Settings → Battery → App launch. Find ProZvonki, turn off the Manage automatically toggle — a dialog with three items appears. Enable all three: Auto-launch, Secondary launch and Run in background. This is the single most important step on Huawei/Honor.
Step 2. Add to protected apps
If Battery settings has a Protected apps or Close apps section, enable ProZvonki there. Protected apps keep running while the screen is off and aren't closed when the phone is locked.
Step 3. Remove battery restrictions
Open Settings → Apps → ProZvonki → Battery and choose Unrestricted. Turn off any separate power-saving modes for the app if offered.
Step 4. Allow exact alarms and notifications
Grant the app the Alarms & reminders permission (Settings → Apps → Special app access, Android 12+) and check that ProZvonki's notifications are on. Callback reminders run on alarms, so without this they may not fire.
Important: step 1 (App launch → manual) is the most critical on Huawei and Honor. If you leave it on "Manage automatically", the system will close the app regardless of the other settings.
